Online Monitoring and Control System for the Technical Condition of 35/6(10) kV Oil-Filled Power Transformers using Intelligent Data Analysis

This work is devoted to the development of a new technical solution in the fi eld of automated control, which helps to increase the
service life of a power transformer of 35/6(10) kV distribution networks. The purpose of the work is to develop an intelligent system for
online monitoring and control of the technical condition of an oil-filled power transformer, which helps to increase the service life due to
a comprehensive assessment and automated control of the transformer. An increase in the volume of analyzed information about the state
of an oil-fi lled power transformer during online monitoring leads to signifi cant changes in the choice of data processing methods. Artifi cial
intelligence methods are used to process the data, this is due to the need to use expert and objective assessments obtained from the online
monitoring system. A methodology for online monitoring and assessment of technical condition, an algorithm for generating recommendations
for technical maintenance of a power transformer have been developed. The neural network model created for data processing was tested
in an intelligent system. The results obtained in this work show a complex relationship between the transformer parameters and external,
operating parameters. The neural network model allowed to increase the accuracy of technical condition assessment and automate the control
process. The developed system allows to apply timely measures to restore the transformer's operability, increase its operational life, and
switch to predictive maintenance and repair.
