Algorithmic Correction of the Navigation
Complex of an Aircraft Using a Numerical
Criterion for the Degree of Observability |

The problem of increasing the accuracy of the navigation complex of a high-precision aircraft using an algorithmic method has been studied.
The concept of dynamic system synthesis was used in the formation of algorithmic support for the navigation complex. A numerical criterion
for the degree of observability of model state variables has been developed, using information from the adaptive Kalman fi lter. As the
degree of observability of errors in the inertial navigation system decreases during the fl ight, the system error model automatically changes,
maintaining high indicators of the degree of observability. The performance of the correction algorithm is demonstrated using experimental
data with a real navigation system.
