The Technology of Video Grammetric Positioning of the Working Body of Construction Machinery in the Tasks of Automation of Earthworks |

The analysis of existing approaches to the automation of technological processes for the production of earthworks by equipping construction equipment with modern automated control systems is carried out. As part of the solution of the task of automating the management of construction works, a videogrammetric positioning technology has been developed to determine the spatial position of the working body of construction equipment. Positioning is carried out by the method of reverse single angular serif on three active-type sighting targets placed on the construction site. The detection and identification of sighting targets is carried out by methods of digital processing of video images based on visual signs.
The application of videogrammetric positioning technology is considered on the example of automation of the excavation production process. At the same time, the planned and altitude position of the bulldozer blade is monitored, as well as the deviation of the bulldozer movement vector from the specifi ed trajectory of movement. Due to the determination of the spatial position of the bulldozer, all operations for the production of earthworks can be performed automatically, which contributes to increased productivity and accuracy of technological operations. Based on the results of physical modeling, the metrological characteristics of the videogrammetric positioning system are estimated. It is established that within a radius of 50 m, the planned and altitude position of the working body of construction equipment is monitored within a tolerance of 2 mm with a base distance of 50 m between the sighting targets. Accordingly, the use of this technology in the automated control system of construction machinery will increase the productivity and accuracy of excavation work.
