Classification of Mapping Images Based on Fuzzy Set Theory Techniques |

In recent years, the use of geographic information systems has grown rapidly, and they have become the main tool for the analysis of spatial data in an unprecedented number of fields of activity. The evolution of GIS has led to the need for faster and better results. Processing time is reduced by the use of more and more advanced and applied mathematical and computer knowledge. One of these mathematical theories is fuzzy logic. Fuzzy logic theory provides an opportunity to improve spatial data management through uncertainty modeling. The use of fuzzy theory is also applicable in the processing of remote sensing data. This article presents the applicability of the theory of fuzzy sets to the classification of raster images.
