BULANOV, O.E. FOMICHEVA The paper considers the features of assessing the quality of models depending on the ultimate goal of building a model. In many cases, when choosing methods for evaluating machine learning models, an important role is played by the high-level goals of the project, in which the ML model, which is also called business metrics, will be used. As an example, we use the task of increasing the effi ciency of mass mailing to customers, in the framework of which the exact classification of customers who are most likely to make a purchase as a result of mailing is most important. When doing the work, machine learning models from the scikit-learn library for the Python language were used.
