Quantitative estimation of controllability of complex dynamic networks model |

The method of quantitative estimation of controllability and observability of complex systems, represented by networks of dynamic
subsystems, is considered. The metrics of controllability and observability of these systems are formed as set function of network nodes,
and also as functions of the eigenvalues of nonnegative matrices – controllability and observability gramians of network nodes that
are modular. Quantitative measures are proposed for estimating the interaction of dynamic network nodes on the basis of constructing
cross-gramians. A method is proposed for realizing the optimal choice of placement of actuators and sensors in nodes of a dynamic
network by finding the extremal values of the controllability and observability metric that can be constructed on the basis of the function
of controllability and observability gramians.
