KUZNETSOV It is shown that, in contrast to universal CAD, only specialized CAD systems allow professional professionals to perform specific functions promptly and professionally and at the proper level and solve specific tasks that confront them without requiring any further refinement and adaptation of these software products. Therefore, such well-known companies in Russia as Autodesk, Inc. (USA), ASCON (Russia) and ProPro Group CJSC (Russia), initially engaged in the development of universal CAD and various applications to them, focused their attention on the development of specialized CAD, using a subject-oriented approach to software design. It is also noted that the urgency of the transition of domestic companies to the development of specialized CAD is further exacerbated in connection with Western sanctions, which significantly restrict the use of foreign software products by many Russian organizations that are on the sanctions list.
