GUSAKOV V.A. NOVIKOV For diagnosingmodern automotive internal combustion engines are spreading CIP diagnostic methods that reduce the time and cost to the search engine malfunction. Number of sources of information in this case is limited and come first analysis algorithms derived from the engine of information and assessment of the reliability of the results of treatment. The article discussed in detail the method of diagnosis, based on the analysis of the instantaneous frequency of oscillation of the crankshaft piston internal combustion engine. An important element is the organization of the diagnostic engine under load close to full. To investigate the influence of various factors and algorithms to analyze the accuracy of evaluating the effectiveness of the working process in the course of each of the cylinders of the engine has been developed a mathematical model consisting of two independent parts: the first emulates the multi-cylinder internal combustion engine and a second software processing information coming from the first block. The proposed software package allows for a design stage to explore in different operational situations, efficiency and accuracy of the method of processing algorithms diagnostic information.
