This article shows the analysis results of the neutron detectors’ main characteristics, which were developed during the last 15…18 years for neutron flux monitoring system (NFMS) of the control and protection system (CPS) for nuclear power and research piles. The new wide-range neutron flux monitoring system variety has been suggested. The system allows to eliminate the problems connected with the start-up detectors activation and burn-up and additionally to increase the inter-calibration interval.
