High-precise control for electric furnace by means of adaptive sectionally continuos regulator |

The article shows comparison results of the operating characteristics for the proportional integral-differential (PID) regulator and adaptive sectionally continuos (ASC) regulator. This comparison has been carried out for the temperature condition control system of drying chamber “Constant temperature cabinet No. 3” and has resulted to the following outcomes. ASC regulator takes significant precedence over PID regulator both in steady and in transient modes of operation. It is determined there is no necessity to readjust the ASC regulator to ensure high-precise control in transient modes. |
