One of the approaches to increase the efficiency of solution the power network problems is offered in this article. The equation that helps to find an optimum size of power network is derived. Examination of the tree structure power network and its single section has yielded that the solutions for them should be identical. It is shown the determination of the appropriate criteria val-ues without preliminary calculation of the variables allows solving the tasks of optimization the big branching power networks.
