The power consumption characteristics of discrete-analog displays are analyzed. As a criterion of choosing an optimum variant in design of the display, we have offered to use the ratio of consumed powers necessary to control signals for bar graph display formation. Analytical expressions for comparison of the double-cycle bar graph information models are derived. Practical rec-ommendations for choosing the way of bar graph displays realization are offered.
