The article considers the new methods of direct and indirect quasi-continuous temperature measurements for current-carrying parts of transmission lines by fiber optic sensors. The refinement possibility of trans-mission lines mathematical models is shown via active resistance variation measurement along the length direction using the thermogram data. The refining of linear active resistance expression for four-terminal circuit in lumped parameters lines and solution of telegraph equations for distributed parameters lines are cited.
