Application of a low-frequency dinamic-balancing method for presise measurement of rotors’ mass-inertia asymmetry parameters |

An experimental method for measurement and ensuring of the desired values of mass-inertia asymmetry parameters of “long” rotors with only one correction sheet, which design needs to use a vertical axis and a low-frequency nominal gyration of the rotor, is considered in the article. All measure operations are fulfilled by a dynamic-balancing machine, which is provided with a pair of cone-shaped gas bearings. The intended for control detail is accommodated into a special technological rig. This rig makes it possible to materialize the second correction sheet and to rule out the possibility of a mechanical contiguity during measure realizations between the detail and the balancing equipment.
