On the Question of Multi-Agent Technology
in Solving the Problem of Information
Support of the Technological Process
of a Thermal Power Plant |

The article examines the use of multi agent technologies based on Smart Dust for information support of technological processes in
thermal power engineering. A section of a vertical flue gas duct is chosen as the automation object, where a model group of particles forming
a swarm is emitted. The main focus is on the physical processes of convection and gas exchange, which determine the dynamics and behavior
of the swarm under the conditions of the technological process. A formalized model abstraction of the particle swarm is proposed, including
a description of the key parameters. The basic equations for analyzing convective heat transfer and calculating the heat transfer coeffi cient
are presented. Particular attention is paid to the infl uence of forced convection on swarm dynamics, where the key parameter is the velocity
of convective fl ows controlled by forced draft fans. The results of emulation of the temperature head gradient along the flue gas duct are
presented, demonstrating the dynamics of gas temperature changes and heat losses.
