Representation of the DFD Notation
in SYSML v2 |

UML, SysML and DFD notations are considered as means of a formalized description of technical and cyber-physical systems. It is
shown that these approaches are focused on modeling various aspects of the subject area, including structure, behavior, functions, processes
and information flows.
SysML is shown in the context of model-oriented system design. It is noted that SysML v2, unlike SysML v1, has a stricter semantic
framework, supports textual and graphical syntax, and provides a higher level of consistency, interoperability, and suitability for automating
engineering procedures.
Using the example of converting the DFD model to SysML v2 notation, it is revealed that the representation of data flows by means
of system modeling is fundamentally possible. At the same time, the absence of strict formal correspondence between the DFD elements
and SysML v2 constructions has been established, which determines the interpretative nature of the transformation and the need for further
methodological study.
