Simulation of the Technological Process
of Liquid Spraying in a Slot Atomizer
for the Deposition of Industrial Dust |

The article presents an approach to modeling the technological process of spraying liquid for cleaning industrial emissions. The input
parameters are the process pressure, the velocity of the liquid, the dispersion of the droplets formed, and the design of the upgraded spray
device. A new method and device is proposed in which liquid is sprayed twice due to a diffuser hole formed by two conical surfaces. The
results of the study show that the proposed mathematical model refl ects the relationship between the pressure of the technological process
created by the upgraded device and the size of the sprayed droplets necessary for effective cleaning of industrial dust. Verification of the
developed model of the technological process of liquid spraying was carried out for an upgraded spray device, which made it possible to
establish the effect of pressure in the system on the diameter of the droplets formed.
