Modeling Thermal Cycles in Welding

This article discusses thermal welding cycles and their main parameters that influence the proper formation of welded joint properties.
This paper explores the electrical, thermal, and metallurgical processes occurring during argon-arc welding. The thermal cycle during
mechanized non-consumable electrode welding in an argon environment is described. Based on an analysis of welding conditions, a
calculation of parameters for determining thermal cycles is modeled, providing a theoretical understanding of the thermal processes occurring
during argon-arc welding.
