Hybrid Decision Support System
for Predicting and Managing
of Cognitive Styles Changes |

The main modern publications on data-based, model-based, and knowledge-based decision support systems (DSS) have been analyzed. Three
requirements and six levels with sublevels of a reference architecture of a hybrid DSS for predicting and managing cognitive learning styles have been
formulated. Such a hybrid DSS implements a closed loop: data → analytics → inter-vention → evaluation → adjustment. The main features of the
functioning of a hybrid DSS in the conditions of learning analytics and educational data mining have been identified and described.
