Assessment of the Sensitivity
of Mixed-Integer Optimization Problems
Using the Example of Complex Systems |
G.T. PIPIAY, L.V. CHERNENKAYA, S.V. KHLOPIN
In modern large optimization tasks aimed at solving problems related to the management of enterprises, technical systems and other
important management objects, problems often arise related to an adequate description of the problem being solved. Adequacy means an
unambiguous response of the optimization model to a change in the optimization object under the influence of the environment, i.e. the
sensitivity of the objective function from changes in its constants and the right-hand sides of the constraint system must fully comply with
the logic of the optimization object. This problem is well solved for linear optimization problems, however, for mixed–integer optimization
problems there are problems related to the description of a regular polyhedron. This paper will present the results of a study of approaches to
describing the sensitivity of mixed–integer optimization problems, and will also propose approaches to improve sensitivity analysis using the
example of a production task.
Keywords: sensitivity assessment, linear relaxation, regularization operator, industrial tasks, computer vision, object detection, image
analysis.
