А Сomparison of Magnetic Susceptibility Data of Particles of Different Powders used in Flaw Detection

The issue of determining the magnetic susceptibility of small particles, in particular, powder particles for flaw detection, while still
unresolved, requires special consideration, especially in connection with the need to obtain detailed information about the magnetic parameters
of the particles themselves that are not yet available (from different manufacturers and users of powders). The work experimentally obtained
data (in test mode, with a fixed fi eld strength) on the effect of the volume fraction of this kind of ferroparticles on the magnetic susceptibility
of the corresponding dispersed samples: powder for fl aw detection Magnaflux 7c, Klever MP, as well as magnetite powder - for comparison.
Using these data in terms (using the original approach) for the values of the magnetic susceptibility of individual particles showed that these
values differ markedly from each other, thereby confirming the need to obtain such information (at least test) for particles of a particular
powder. This information can be used to make a decision on the selective implementation, in particular, of the corresponding (by the level of
magnetic effect) flaw detectors in order to most clearly detect defects in products and parts.
