MAGOMEDOV, S.A. RYLOV, G.L. KANAREIKIN In the modern world, the application of the basic architectural patterns and approaches of the industrial Internet of Things (IIot) is an urgent task. The description of devices within the framework of the notation of the unifi ed automated markup Language (IEC 62714) is one of the priorities in INDUSTRY 4.0. However, it is necessary to learn how to describe the physical connections between different types of devices. One of these typical physical connections is a thread. In the article, the authors consider the existing types of connections offered by the AutomationML consortium. The authors of the article propose a concept for describing a typical threaded connection in AutomationML notation, which will allow using this interface when describing complex multicomponent systems within the framework of a seamless concept of describing systems in the form of a single notation.
