Mathematical Model of a Static Pressure
Probe With an External Profiled Surface |

The article presents a mathematical model and the results of modeling a static pressure probe with an external profi led surface at an airfl ow rate
from 13.89 m/s to 69.44 m/s. The model was obtained on the basis of modeling the static pressure probes with an external profi led surface in the
ANSYS program. Comparison of the results of aerodynamic tests of static pressure probe with an external profi led surface in the wind tunnel of
Ulyanovsk Instrument Manufacturing Design Bureau, JSC, and their modeling in the ANSYS program is presented. The developed mathematical
model makes it possible to calculate the pressure coeffi cient of static pressure probe according to the following initial data: geometric parameters of
static pressure probe, the speed of the incoming airfl ow and the fl ight altitude. The results of the search for combinations of geometric parameters of
static pressure probe with an external profi led surface, the deviation of the pressure coeffi cient of which is minimal when the speed of the incoming
airfl ow changes, are presented.
