Modeling of Communication Systems
in Terms of Ensuring its Stability |

This article contains a description of the developed software that implements the process of modeling a communication network in terms of ensuring its
stability, namely reliability and survivability.
The relevance of the development is determined primarily, fi rstly, by the need to identify topological vulnerabilities of the communication network, and,
secondly, is dictated by economic factors associated with optimizing the costs of designing and upgrading the communication network, ensuring the required
level of stability.
The functionality of the communication network modeling program is outlined, including aspects of data management, visualization and implementation
of analytical functions. The purpose of the developed software can be expanded to an automated solution to a wide range of engineering and technical problems
of constructing and analyzing geographically distributed high-dimensional telecommunication networks. This software, along with a comprehensive study of
the stability of a communication network, can be considered as a toolkit for automating the design, modernization and operational support of communication
networks.
