Method for Increasing the Degree of Controllability
of a Descent Spacecraft |

The problem of studying the degree of controllability of a spacecraft during descent in the atmosphere along reference trajectories is considered. To
increase the fl ight effi ciency of a spacecraft, a criterion for the degree of controllability of the state variables of a non-stationary system, based on the minimum
energy consumption, was used. A hierarchical method is proposed for estimating the degree of controllability of the descent of a spacecraft in the atmosphere
along various nominal trajectories, with different initial conditions and control algorithms. Mathematical modeling and analysis of the controllability of a
spacecraft are presented to identify sections of the trajectory with a greater degree of controllability.
