The article discusses the implementation of the acoustic pulse method with variable distance for non-destructive testing of dispersive
systems across a wide range of temperatures. A solution is proposed to reduce the error in the study of the speed of ultrasonic wave
propagation. An experimental setup is assembled, and the developed system is tested on a concentration series of magnetic fl uid based on
transformer oil. It is demonstrated that statistical signal processing enables a reduction in measurement errors of the velocity and absorption
coeffi cient of ultrasonic waves.
