Features of Synthesis of Visually Observable During Flight 3D-Models of the External Environment for a Flight Simulator |

The article deals with imitators that synthesize in real time using computer graphics methods images of a part of the underlying surface of a 3D model of the environment that fell into their surveillance cameras. It is shown that the main feature of the development of each imitator of an aviation simulator is the unity of information synthesizing it for the pilot, which allows you to form the given components of the pilot’s cognitive model, which complement the same components acquired by the pilot during the flight on a real aircraft. Structural diagrams of such imitators are considered and a general approach to information processing is shown. The sequence of development of databases for computer image generators is determined. It is shown that each imitator must have its own database in which all 3D models of reference objects are described, the appearance of which is seen by the pilot when flying on an aviation simulator.
