CALS-System for Computer Quality Management of Hydrophobizating Impregnations for Road Infrastructure |

To increase the efficiency of scientific research on the basis of information CALS-technology a computer quality management system of hydrophobizating protective impregnations has been created. They are analyzed, selected and used for two types of road and sidewalk coverings: granite tiles and concrete slabs. For each type of impregnation, 6 main quality indicators were added to the system: water absorption by the Karsten method, salt release on the coating surface, capillary water saturation of the tile, adhesion coeffi cient, wetting angle, as well as the tear strength of the "frozen" sample. According to all indicators, appropriate analysis methods and instruments have been introduced into the system. The developed system makes it possible to improve the analytical quality control of hydrophobizating impregnations, guarantees prompt provision of correct laboratory information, increases the efficiency of using laboratory resources (personnel, instruments, and reagents), reduces the execution time of analytical studies, automating the calculation of measurement methods, reporting formation and preparation of quality documents.
