KARASEV, S.V. DANILKIN, M.A. GLADICHEV The article presents the development of an improved contact smart card with a fingerprint scanner. Describes the stack of protocols for contact smart cards and the selection of a suitable place to implement controls for a fingerprint scanner. The description of the process of activation of smart cards is given, in accordance with the standard GOST R ISO / IEC 7816-3-2013. A comparative analysis of existing types of fingerprint scanners is carried out and an acceptable solution is found for its application in development in terms of cost, an adequate level of security and the size of the sensor itself. A new card initialization algorithm is proposed after the introduction of a fingerprint scanner into it, as well as the advantages of this approach in relation to solving the problems of transferring cards to third parties and copying them to the spent funds. Potential areas of application of this development and the advantages of its implementation in relation to standard solutions are proposed. In conclusion, information is presented on the prospects for introducing this development into various areas of application and the feasibility of this process for consumer companies of the developed product.
