Magnetoelastic Measurement of Downhole Tool Vibration |

Based on the use of magnetoelastic characteristics of ferromagnetic materials, the principle of measuring the vibration force of a borehole tool is proposed. The features of the construction of sensitive elements in the form of inductive and mutually inductive converters of a controlled physical parameter are given. The errors are estimated from the point of view of optimal transmission of the information signal over a distance by cable. An ultrahigh-frequency approach for calculating the vibrational force based on varactor frequency tuning is presented. From the point of view of increasing efficiency in the measurement of vibration force, the most common in recent years, various bridge measuring circuits are analyzed with a choice depending on the requirements for accuracy, the measurement range of the desired parameter.
