SHUGUROV A significant complication of the design, an increase in the number of manufacturers and models offered by them, as well as a continuous change in the capabilities of attackers require the formation of new approaches to assessing the quality of information security systems at the quantitative level. The article presents general philosophical approaches and concepts describing the concept of quality, which made it possible to adapt the basic defi nitions and principles used in qualimetry to the processes taking place in information security systems. The adapted defi nitions served as the basis for a new sequence of actions to assess the quality of the information security system at the quantitative level. The difference of the developed approach is the complexity of the assessment, which allows taking into account the degree of information security, the information technologies used, as well as the security of the network infrastructure. The formulated approach also makes it possible to assess the quality of information security systems both at the stage of their commissioning and during their intended use, that is, for static and dynamic models of information security threats.
