Classical Mathematica Abstractions in Applications of Notitia Securitatem Theoria |

The possibility of probabilistic representation of the basic characteristics of information security – its confidentiality, integrity, accessibility, as well as timely response to information security threats is substantiated. The similarity of the representation of these characteristics and the probability distribution function is illustrated. The features of such a representation are considered to characterize the timeliness of responding to information security threats. A generalized form of expression for this characteristic is substantiated. Variants of analytical expressions are given to characterize the timeliness of responding to threats to information security in conditions of different nature of such threats.
