Synthesis of a High-Quality Anti-Ship Missile Altitude Stabilization System in the Matlab Environment |

The anti-ship missile (M) when approaching the target in order to avoid enemy fire should fly at an extremely low altitude (5-10 m). In this section of the flight, in order to avoid a collision with the water surface, the anti-ship missile altitude stabilization system (AMASS) must accurately maintain the M at a given altitude. Therefore, a PID controller is often used in it. The results of the study show that this is an accurate system, but has a lot of overshoot in the transition process. Therefore, the article considers a technique for eliminating overshoot in the transition process of the AMASS with the exact maintenance of the M at a given height in steady-state mode. It is achieved by introducing additional local height feedback. The simulation results show that the AMASS, built on this principle, accurately maintains the M at a given constant height in impact of constant component of noise and does not have overshoot in the transient process. Further in the article the technique of synthesis of AMASS in the Matlab environment is proposed. In order to simplify the synthesis process, as a first approximation, we accept the linear model of the AMASS and try to use the commands of the Control System Toolbox (Matlab) package as much as possible.
