Application of Applied Spectroscopy Methods in the Problem of the Technological Process Control of Defluorated Phosphate Production |
M.A. VAGANOV, V.I. KAZAKOV, V.F. LEBEDEV, A.R. BESTUGIN
The article discusses the application of applied optical spectroscopy methods in the problem of technological process monitoring of the defluorinated phosphate production. In particular, the possibilities of using the method of emission spectral analysis to control the process of hydrothermal acid processing of the charge, which takes place in special furnaces when burning natural gas and a temperature of 1340-1400 С, have been studied. In laboratory conditions, the spectral characteristics of gas combustion in various modes have been investigated, characteristic spectral lines have been noted, the intensity of which can be used to estimate the effi ciency of gas combustion as well as to control the temperature regime of combustion. Experiments have been carried out at real plant and the results of studying the spectral characteristics of radiation from the furnace during the technological process of defluorination are presented. It is shown that, by measuring individual spectral lines, it is possible to provide an automatic control mode for the defluorination technological process in terms of controlling the combustion mode of the furnace burner without the need for visual observation by the operator to ensure a better product yield. The studies were carried out using a USB2000 + diffraction grating spectrometer from Ocean Optics Inc. The second part of the work is devoted to the study of the chemical composition of defluorinated phosphate by the method of laser indused breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS). At the moment, the analysis of the chemical composition of the finished product (defluorinated phosphate) is carried out in the laboratory, the analysis procedure takes a certain time. After receiving the results of laboratory analysis, if necessary, the parameters of the production process are adjusted. The application of the LIBS method for the analysis of the chemical composition of defl uorinated phosphate is proposed, which allows real-time monitoring and control of the parameters of the production process. The results of measurement and interpretation of plasma spectra from a sample of ready-made defluorinated phosphate, obtained using the LIBS method, are presented. The studies were carried out using spectrometers on a diffraction grating AvaSpec-ULS2048 and AvaSpec-3648 from Avantes and a solid-state pulsed Nd: YAG laser LOTIS II 2134U.
