BAKANOV Corporate information systems are designed to transfer, store and provide information necessary for the activities of an organization. In turn, making management decisions is the main content of the organization’s activities. In modern organizations, a management decision is made in electronic form, transmitted through the organization’s information channels, the management decision is based on information contained in both corporate and external information resources, i.e. in essence, decision-making activities are information processing and transmission activities. Each organization has specific features of information processing processes, and they are reflected in decision-making processes. Specific features in management activities are reflected: in the structure of the organization; in departmental standards and regulations; in organizational technologies for performing work. All of the above information can be used in decision support systems to analyze decisions made based on precedents. Keywords: information technology, information resources, decision support systems.
