Ability to Determine Operator Fatigue by Processing a Series of Images of the Operator |

The design and operation of modern technical systems are inextricably linked with the issues of automation and the use of software and hardware systems for remote control, monitoring and control. In such systems, significant functionality and even greater responsibility is assigned to the operator, who acts as an important link in the "man-machine-environment" system and, in fact, must make various decisions in a changing environment and help adapt the capabilities of the automated system to the specifics of implementing technological processes in real time. It is important to take into account and evaluate changes in the emotional, physical and psychological state of the employee, who is often left alone for many hours with the modules of the technical system, through which he receives information about the state of the environment, the ongoing production processes and, in general, about the objects of the real world. To obtain information about the emotional state of a person, it is proposed to use the developed mathematical and algorithmic software that allows processing the image of a person and detecting his emotions, the degree of fatigue, and the reaction to situational influences. The presented solutions can be implemented by processing images obtained both from the employee’s smartphone and from a stationary control system installed directly at the operator’s workplace.
