System Analysis of Control Methodology in Flight Control of Modern Spacecraft |

This article summarizes the results of a system analysis of the modern control methodology for space flight control, which is widely used for various spacecraft. The systematization and generalization of the experience of practical work in this direction is emphasized in terms of the control carried out during the implementation of the control process on ground-based technical means. In this part, the principles of control are formulated, the components and functions of control are presented. On the basis of the conducted research, the author proposes a mathematical description of the control process. Attention is focused on the restrictions imposed on information exchange between the spacecraft and ground control facilities. The difference in the amount of information used to solve control problems on board the spacecraft and on ground means has been substantiated. The conditions for exercising control and signs of the regular functioning of the spacecraft are formalized.
