AKHOBADZE The issues of metrological diagnostics of the information and measurement system, as one of the main components of the technical tools of production process control, are considered. A complete metrological analysis of the occurrence of errors in the transmission and registration of measurement information about the technological parameter is carried out. Using a specific example, taking into account the theoretical assumptions of error theories, a method for determining the error of the results of multiple measurements of the controlled parameter is given.
