Digital Twins of Asynchronous Electromechanical Converters |

The article analyzes the trends of digitalization in modern industrial production and control processes of technological equipment. The importance of digital technologies in the development of digital twins of particularly hazardous and energyintensive industries and the technological equipment involved in them was especially emphasized. The authors analyzed the possibility of developing digital twins of powerful asynchronous electromechanical converters based on their proposed conceptual energy model. The article presents the results of a comparative analysis of the calculated and experimental current characteristics of an asynchronous electric drive. The experimental setup was used to obtain current characteristics for the stator and rotor circuits of the operating mode of the electric drive and analyze their harmonic composition. The authors of the article, based on the calculated and experimental characteristics obtained on the basis of physical modeling of the operating modes of an asynchronous drive, concluded that the proposed energy model of an asynchronous electromechanical converter can be considered as the basis of its digital twin. The adequacy of the obtained experimental and calculated current characteristics allows us to conclude that the proposed energy model of an asynchronous electromechanical converter can be used to develop its digital twin.
