Noise Immunity of Modem in Noise Channel at Reception of Signal With Tikhon Distribution |

For the known modem, a new algorithm for modulation of a quasi-merministic signal with a distribution according to Tikhonov's law has been proposed. The noise immunity of a modem with a new modulation algorithm in a channel with "white" noise has been studied. It is established that the noise stability of the modem increased by 10 dB (at the level of the probability of mistakes 1∙10–12) in comparison with the prototype accepting signals with phase modulation. In addition, a modem with a new modulation algorithm has an error probability several orders of magnitude smaller than its analogue with the modulation algorithm published earlier.
