Digital Spectral Analysis Based on Uniform Time Sampling of a Correlogram Spectral Estimate and Binary Stochastic Quantization of a Signal |

We consider a digital algorithm for calculating the correlation estimation of the spectral power density of signals using smoothing functions of correlation Windows. The algorithm is developed on the basis of sampling with a uniform time step of the integral representation of the correlogram spectral estimation and binary stochastic quantization by the level of the analyzed signal. This approach provided analytical calculation of the integration operator during the transition from analog correlation estimation to a digital algorithm. This eliminated the need to pre-calculate the correlation function estimates and perform the operation of weighing them (multiplying) with the counts of the correlation window function. This result led to a decrease in the number of digital multiplication operations, which increases the effi ciency of digital spectral analysis of complex signals. As an example, we have considered the use of a number of the most well-known correlation Windows.
