A Modem for Receiving the Modulated Signals With Tikhonov Distribution Law |

Improving the noise immunity of digital data transmission systems is relevant to the present time. However, the known theory of modulation of amplitude, phase, frequency of deterministic oscillations seems to have exhausted its possibilities, since there is no noticeable progress in improving the noise immunity of systems. Probably, it is not possible to make outdated in theory postulates and scientific provisions. New recommendations are needed to make a leap in improving the noise immunity of digital systems. The purpose of our research is to find a new direction, following which it will be possible to increase noise immunity of digital data transmission systems by several orders of magnitude. We propose to replace the model of deterministic oscillation with a quasi-deterministic signal and proceed to the modulation of the characteristic function. When forming a quasi-deterministic signal, it will be useful to use the Tikhonov distribution law considered in statistical radio engineering. The construction of a modem for receiving signals with a modulated characteristic function provides a noticeable increase in noise immunity of digital systems. Studies have shown that when the modem is in the channel with noise, its noise immunity is at least two orders of magnitude higher than the noise immunity of known devices.
