Instruments and Systems: Monitoring, Control, and Diagnostics Annotation << Back The typology and clustering mechanism for the effective functioning of the networks of the industrial Internet V.V. SLIUSSAR A multi-step clustering mechanism of low-power wireless IoT networks is proposed. The mechanism is aimed at minimizing the number of so called «coordinators» (representating nodes of clusters) and distance between them in given constraints. The mechanism was tested for sets of networks with minimal transmission radii and different transmission limit amounts. It has shown its effectiveness for developing local IoT networks, such as «smart home» systems.
