Use of remote sensing data of the Earth’s territory for assessment and management of socio-economic development of regions |

The substantiation of expediency of application of remote sensing of the territory of the region for collection of unique information on its current state which cannot be received by other conventional methods is executed. The article describes the main problems associated with the need to process large amounts of data to perform an adequate description of the socio-economic and environmental condition of the regions. A static graphoanalytic model is formed that provides the possibility of a formal description of the territory of regions with economic entities and elements of natural potential located on it, which determines the nature of their interaction with each other and the spatial location relative to each other. The use of this model allows you to organize the management of the development of regions by deviation. An economic and mathematical model is developed that allows describing the trajectory and trends of changes in the socio-economic and ecological state of the regions and obtaining on this basis adequate predictive estimates of their effective integrated development. The original principle of construction and development of effective cluster formations in the region is proposed.
