Road traffic today is a complex, hierarchically built system that includes a large number of elements, the independence of which from each other makes the process of organizing and managing the road traffic difficult and requiring the introduction of new innovative automated systems. The article discusses one of these systems – an integrated optical mobile information system for light detection and automatic traffic control on lay of line. The article presents the work of this system, carries out its approbation on lay of line, characterized by a high accident rate, and determines the effectiveness of this system.
