The study of dental caries at an early stage of formation of coherent scanning interferometry in the low-coherence light |

The paper an interferometric device with a coherent-time-limited radiation source for measurements of caries at an early stage of education in dentistry therapeutic is presented. Experimental studies of the initial caries in vivo at the junction of the gums and crowns in the maxillary and mandibular arches of the central incisors are conducted. The dependence of the distribution of the reflection coefficient R on the depth at the junction of the gum and crown in the absence of initial caries and in the presence of it is shown. The data for definition in the early stages of tooth decay up to 2.1 μm are obtained. The scheme of the interferometric device is given and technical characteristics: measurement error-2,1 μm, measurement range of analysis depth-0 ... 4 mm; measurement frequency-46 Hz; average distance from the micro lens to the object – 120 mm are given.
