The method of verification o the vector network analyzers with the arbitrary number of measuring channels for ultra high frequency measurements |
O.V. DROZD, D.V. KAPULIN, S.V. CHENTSOV
The article presents the technique of verification the vector network analyzer (VNA) with any number of measuring channels for the purpose of definition of the main metrological characteristics (measurement errors of transmission and reflection complex coefficients). The general questions of metrological support of VNA and models used at the same time with 8, 10 and 12 parameters are considered. Creation of parametrical model of multiport VNA on the basis of the general 12-parametrical model is executed. The article presents the technique of the VNA verification with arbitrary number of measuring channels for the purpose of determination the main metrological characteristics: errors of measurements of complex transmission ratios and reflection. Also the design of the parametric model of the multichannel VNA on the basis of the general 12-parametric model is executed. Results of using the approach in the case of the automation of carry out testing of the experimental samples of the band passing filters for radar systems are provided.
