Diagnostics of the optical interference field |

The role of accurate measurements, which are carried out by interference methods in modern science to technology, is rapidly growing due to the creation of lasers and the development of electronics. In recent years, the field of application of holographic interferometers has expanded substantially, especially in the field of creating linear measurement system encoders [1…4]. Of great importance is the consideration of questions connected with the investigation of the causes of the interference fringes affecting the shape and distribution of interferometers in the interferometer, the justification of the requirements for optical nodes of interferometers and the accuracy of their installation and alignment, the detection of sources of measurement errors, etc. In this paper, phase distortions of the interference field (IP) in the output aperture of a 2-beam optical interferometer using as coherent He-Ne laser light and little aberration optical elements with the aim of creating qualitative plane wave fronts.
