KRYUKOV It is shown that an increase in the accuracy of measuring gas consumption leads to a reduction in its losses. The technical basis for increasing the accuracy can be a center that solves the problems of measuring these quantities. Establishment of a test and reference base in the field of measuring gas consumption, the creation of new high-tech centers, the development of cooperation between countries and the subsequent mutual comparison of their standards with the standards of European countries will reduce the negative consequences of the difference in the requirements of the standards of the countries of importers and gas exporters and losses in gas pipelines.
