Improving the efficiency of the measuring devices based flux-gate transducers |

The article considers the non-standard version of the winding excitation of the ferro probe, which allows significantly increasing the
sensitivity without a noticeable increase in the power consumption of devices built on the basis of the flux gate transducers and used to
measure the magnitude of the static magnetic field intensity in solving various control, diagnostic and control tasks.
Taking into account the fact that the amplitude of the excitation signal has a significant effect on the sensitivity of the flux probe, it is
proposed to supply the winding of the ferro-probe excitation with modulated rectangular pulses of increased frequency through the D flipflop
(for doubling the amplitude of the pulses) and a coupling capacitor, by which the constant component of the signal is eliminated and a
voltage resonance is provided excitation winding. In this case, the operating frequency specified in the documentation for the ferro-sonde
is provided by the frequency of the modulating pulses.
Such washing by the modulated high frequency pulses, in addition, makes it possible to increase the voltage of the excitation signal
due to voltage surges occurring on the positive and negative fronts when the square-wave generator is applied to the inductive load, which is the winding of the excitation of the ferro probe.
